The bits of echeveria and other succulents I collected have really started rooting. The various parent plants are buried in snow now and probably dead. We've had lows around 12F lately and expect a big snow storm this weekend.

I did not expect the all roots to be hot pink!

Some leaves have roots and tiny leaves, some only have one or the other.

Now that they have started to sprout, I can put them on quick draining soil and water about once a week. I'm not sure what I'll do if they all make little plants - I don't have any sunny spots in the house to display them. Maybe I will take them to a swap or give them away. It is a lot of fun to go down to the basement every day and check the progress though.
