I consoled myself with this beautiful Easter Bread from one of my favorite places, Sophia's Greek Market. The Italian style breads tend to have more colorful eggs, icing, and lots of sprinkles, but I think the simpler Greek version is more our speed.
It looks like my flowers and herbs have weathered last night's snowfall just fine but I am glad that I waited to transplant out the broccoli etc at the plot. It always gets colder there. I've been busy prepping the new beds and I'll be lucky if my pea trellis is still standing after yesterday's wind.
Last Saturday was gorgeous weather for the community garden Workday. We had a record attendance of over 150 people. I ran the administration and check-in table and Dylan enjoyed clearing brush and moving rocks. It was fun to see the gardens so full of people.
