Garden is Still Frozen
You can see the tracks of vole tunnels under the snow. I don't know why I thought I would be able to harvest greens and brussels sprouts over the winter. This is so much colder than Maryland.
In honor of the Year of the Horse, Dylan and I made a big batch of pork and cabbage dumplings last night. Dylan makes and rolls the dough, I make the filling and fold them shut. We ate some of them with rice and a dipping sauce made from black vinegar, soy sauce, sriracha, and grated ginger. The remainder went into the freezer. Having tasty homemade dumplings in the freezer for special occasions helps curb the late-winter "Delivery Chinese Food" cravings - Fun and good for the budget.
