Fall Foliage

Over the weekend we took a nice walk through Mt. Auburn to see the colors.  All of the trees are labelled so it is a fun way to brush up on tree identification as well. Above, the sugar maples are the real stars of fall color show right now.  We also went up in the tower for a nice view of Boston.

Above: See the fantastic wasp nest?

Below: On Sunday we walked down to the river with Henry to catch some of the Head of The Charles Regatta.  The weather was beautiful but Henry was not a big fan of all the yelling (cheering).

I've been playing an opera at the Central Square YMCA this week so unfortunately my more frequent view has been of the Harvard Square bus terminal late at night. Still, riding transit beats driving home any night.
